Sea-Craft Waterfront Tiki

Social Media Management • Event Promotion • Community Building

Sea-Craft Waterfront Tiki is a waterfront restaurant and entertainment venue located in North Fort Myers, Florida. During my time with the business, I progressed from server and bartender to Social Media Manager and eventually FOH Manager, combining hospitality leadership with content creation, event promotion, and community engagement.

This combination of hospitality and marketing experience provided a unique perspective when creating content, allowing me to connect the guest experience with the business goals behind it.

The Challenge

Sea-Craft Waterfront Tiki is more than a waterfront restaurant – it is a gathering place for locals, visitors, boaters, and live music fans. Known for its waterfront atmosphere, entertainment, and community-focused events, the restaurant creates an experience that extends beyond food and drinks.

During my time with the business, the challenge was translating that sense of community into social media while consistently promoting the events, entertainment, and experiences that kept guests coming back.

With live music, weekly events, food and drink specials, and waterfront dining all competing for attention, content needed to do more than provide information. It needed to capture the atmosphere of the business and give people a reason to be part of it.

During my time with Sea-Craft Waterfront Tiki, I progressed from server and bartender to Social Media Manager and eventually FOH Manager. This experience allowed me to approach content creation from multiple perspectives combining firsthand guest interactions with an understanding of business operations, event promotion, and community engagement.

Impact

Sea-Craft Waterfront Tiki shaped the way I approach hospitality marketing today.

During my time there, I learned that successful social media is not just about showcasing food and drinks – it’s about capturing the people, experiences, and moments that make guests want to return. The content that performed best was always rooted in the community that surrounded the business.

As I grew from Server to Front of House Manager and Social Media Manager, I gained a unique perspective on both the guest experience and the day-to-day realities of operating a restaurant. That combination allowed me to create content with purpose, support events and promotions, strengthen community engagement, and contribute to the overall guest experience.

This experience laid the foundation for my approach to content creation: tell authentic stories, build meaningful connections, and create work that supports real business goals.
